Homemade Garlic Bread

Here's another recipe I accidentally learned out of boredom! lols, Yes I mean it.

I was craving for a famous pizza house garlic bread one day but it was extremely humid and hot outside, it'll be extremely exhausting to go out. Too much sacrifice for a bunch of bread sticks.

So with the help of Pinterest, I tried making my first ever garlic bread using a day old whole wheat bread.

It was surprisingly good! So from that moment on, I never thought of buying the commercial ones anymore.

Serving size: 2-3 persons

Prep time: 5-6 minutes

What you will need:

- Wheat bread or baguette or any bread available

- 3 cloves garlic finely minced

- 1/2 cup parsley chopped finely

- 1/2 cup melted butter

- 1 tsp. salt

- 1 tsp. ground black pepper

Procedure:

1.) Put melted butter, minced onion, chopped parsley, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well.

2.) Cut bread lengthwise or anyway you want it, in my case I cut it into sticks. 1 piece of wheat bread yielded 3 slices. You can also bake/pan-fry the bread whole it's fine.

3.) Using a kitchen brush, slather bread sticks with the butter mixture and put into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. You can also use a bread toaster of just do it in a non-stick pan.

4.) Bake the bread for 2-5 minutes in 250 degrees oven, the cooking time and the temperature depends on the oven used. Check the bread often and take out once the color turns into deep brown.

5.)Serve while hot with your favorite cheese dip or pasta.
