When I say quick and easy, I meant ready-in-less-than-10-minutes kind of recipe. It's the best to make use of left over food items from previous cooking sessions. Great for on the go breakfast or to simply satisfy your Chinese-style fried rice cravings!
Serving size: 2-3 persons
Prep. time : 5-6 minutes
You will need:
2 cups cooked white rice
3 pieces ready to eat sweet ham (diced)
1/4 cup green peas (drained)
1/4 cup sweet corn kernels
1 egg
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
half a medium sized onion (diced)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1/4 kl. ground beef (I used leftover in this recipe but this is optional)
Procedure:
1.) In a medium sized pan, pour in cooking oil and add garlic and onions, cook for 1-2 minutes of until onion turns translucent and the garlic light brown.
2.) Add in leftover cooked ground beef, sweet ham and stir. Add in green peas and sweet corn then cover to cook for 2 minutes.
3.) Add cooked white rice, salt, pepper and garlic powder then mix well.
4.) Add it one egg (beaten) and cook until egg is done. Serve hot with you favorite viand.
5.) Enjoy! :)
