Quit buying prepacked pancake mixture from the supermarket. Instead, try this homemade breakfast pancake recipe using ingredients you have in your pantry. So easy to prepare plus you get to control the sugar content.

Serving size : 2-3 people

Prep Time - 15-20 minutes

What you will need:

1 large Egg

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1 cup flour

1/2 cup milk

a pinch of fine salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter

Procedure

1.) In a medium-sized bowl mix together all the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda, brown sugar and baking powder. Make a well in the middle and add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract.

2.) Mix until ingredients are well incorporated.

3.) Using a non stick pan, set on a medium heat stove, scoop out a hefty amount of the batter and let sit for 1-2 minutes. Once you see bubbles pooping out from the top of the pancake, it's time to flip and cook the other side accordingly.

4.) Repeat the process for the remaining batter. Once done stack up the pancakes on a plate and add a bit of softened butter on top and drizzle a bit of organic honey.

5.) Enjoy with your cup of coffee or tea and some fresh fruits!
