Breakfast Oats with fruits, honey and Cinnamon

Breakfast is the first meal of the day, make sure you pack it up with the necessary amount of nutrients to fuel your body for the day's errands.


This easy to prepare breakfast oats is packed with the right amount of fiber, protein, carbs and sugar to jump start your day!

Prep time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

1 cup Quick cooking oatmeal

1/2 cup milk (fresh, full cream, or skim - your choice)

1/4 cup water

half of an apple sliced lengthwise thinly

one cheek of a medium sized mango sliced thinly

A dash of cinnamon powder

2 tablespoons organic honey (optional)

Procedure

1. Combine oats, water and milk in a microwavable container and mix well.

2. Microwave the mixture for about 1-2 minutes or until the oats softened. Mix well.

3. Arrange the sliced apples and mangoes on top the oats and milk mixture and drizzle with honey and a bit of cinnamon powder.
